Restaurant-Style Wonton Noodle Soup

Tender wontons, chewy noodles, and a rich, savory broth for a delicious homemade takeout favorite!
Ingredients:
Wontons:
- ½ lb ground pork
- 4 oz shrimp
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch scallions
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 tbsp shaoxing wine
- ½ tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg white
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¼ tsp white pepper
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 36 wonton wrappers
Soup:
- 8 cups water
- 3 tbsps chicken bouillon
- 2 bunches of scallions, chopped, with the whites cut into 2” pieces
- 6 cloves garlic
- 2 slices ginger
- 2 tbsps shaoxing wine
- 2 tbsps soy sauce
- ½ tsp white pepper
- ½ tsp msg
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 3 bunches of bok choy
- 2 cups egg noodles
Instructions:
- Combine all the wonton ingredients–except for the wrappers–in a food processor to make your filling. Drop about a tsp of filling into each wonton wrapper, and shape it into a wonton.
- Combine all of your soup ingredients–except for the bok choy and egg noodles–into a large pot. Bring it to a boil.
- Add your wontons into the pot, and cook them until they float. Then add in your egg noodles and bok choy. Cook for 30 seconds.
- Divide your wonton noodle soup into 4 bowls, and enjoy!
